With Hanna Yaffe

In this session we will explore the fragile songs Jewish parents sang to their babies in the ghettos, camps, and hiding places of the Holocaust. Through story and song, we hear how tenderness, fear, faith and hope were woven into simple melodies that held families together in impossible times. This moving session includes Yiddish lullabies and other Jewish songs from moments of crisis, revealing the spiritual resilience of generations past.
