BUILD YOUR FAMILY ARCHIVE: KEEP YOU FAMILY TREASURES ALIVE (ONLINE)
We live in a world where we constantly photograph, film and document important (and less important) moments of our lives while inheriting memories (old photographs, family documents, letters, postcards, videos…) from previous generations.
The goal of this online course will be to teach easy strategies and processes to keep, store, process, produce and transfer such precious past-present-and-future family moments to future generations so they don’t go to waste. We will go over simple and practical solutions for both Apple/PC and mobile devices users (iOS/android). For some of the solutions taught in the course, a subscription to a cheap online solution might be required/recommended, but however cancelable at any point. A basic understanding of computer/tablet use is required to attend the course. A tablet or computer is required in addition to the device used for the Zoom course.
The course is given in English, in collaboration with Paideia – the European Institute for Jewish Studies in Sweden.
Prior knowledge
To apply for this course, you need basic computer skills and knowledge of how to use the digital platform Zoom. The school offers Zoom manuals and a training opportunity before the start of the course.
No prior knowledge about the subject is needed. We will go over simple and practical solutions for both Apple/PC and mobile devices users (iOS/android).
Course material
