THE JEWISH CALENDAR: A VISUAL ARTS JOURNEY THROUGH TIME AND SPACE WITHIN
In this course we will study various aspects of the Jewish calendar, including elements of the holidays, Jewish texts on seasons and time. We will reflect, express, meditate and create pieces reflecting the cycles around and within us. Time and movement are tied to each other, and as time moves and the seasons change, we can tap into deep and ancestral places of movement and personal growth.
This class will utilize traditional Jewish texts, explore elements of Halacha, symbolism and Jewish thoughts as well as various art mediums.
The course is given in English, in collaboration with the Jewish Community in Stockholm.
