Aleph Bet Visions:
Aleph Bet Visions is a unique intellectual and artistic workshop which combines hevruta methodology with a creative process. The workshop consists of two sessions. In the first part, participants will study in hevruta Jewish prayers and texts relating to the Hebrew alphabet. In the second part, participants will translate their ideas about the text they have studied into a pictorial representation using simple and immediate techniques. Aleph Bet Visions anticipates that this process of translation will deepen the participants’ understanding of the text. No previous experience in hevruta (the Jewish method of studying and discussing over a text in pairs) or creative techniques are needed.
